At the Wycombe 50m Sprint meet a team of mainly younger swimmers from the Club, finished second in the top visiting club award behind a larger contingent from Hillingdon. Aaron Pullen (10) did particularly well winning all four strokes and Lucy Thornton (9), Omar Haroun (9), Bethan Hall-Jones (11), and Francesca Garland (14) all achieved double wins. Lucy won the butterfly and freestyle, Omar the breaststroke and freestyle, Bethan the butterfly and backstroke and Francesca the backstroke and breaststroke.
Ellie Love won the 9 years breaststroke and Maisie Jameson (9) won the backstroke giving Ealing all four golds in the 9 year old girls age group.
Omar Haroun also took silver in the butterfly and backstroke as did Ellie Love, while Emma Clarke (16) won silver in the backstroke and freestyle. Other silver medals were won by Lisa Shewring (15) – backstroke, Charlotte Fairclough (13) – freestyle with bronzes in the butterfly and breaststroke and 4th place in the backstroke, Maisie Jameson – freestyle with a bronze in the butterfly, Bethan Hall-Jones – freestyle and Alexandra Lochead (14) – breaststroke. Kaine Wright (11) took bronze in the breaststroke, Harry Jukes (11) in the butterfly, Ellie Love – freestyle, Amandeep Virdee (15) – breaststroke, Lucy Thornton – backstroke, Pooja Gupta (10) - backstroke and Alessandros Ionnides (14) – breaststroke.
Swimmers who ranked in the top six of events were Gabi Compton (15), Amandeep Virdee and Kaine Wright ( all 3 events) Francesca Garland (2 events) and Rebecca Braine (9), Nathan Dinsley (11) Stephen Fenner (12), Charlotte Fairclough, Pooja Gupta, Anais O’Hanian (14), Alessandros Ionnides and Lisa Shewring.
