Information on joining Ealing Swimming Club, including learn to swim lessons


Learn to swim lessons are provided by:

  1. BulletEaling Dolphins at Gurnell Leisure Centre from complete beginner level. Minimum age 5yrs, although children may be put a waiting list under that age, to start at 5.


  1. BulletNortholt Phoenix at Horsenden School. Minimum age 4 and children must be tall enough to stand in the pool. Lessons start from complete beginner level.


  1. BulletDormers Academy at Dormers Wells Leisure Centre. Minimum age 4 and children must be tall enough to stand in the pool. Lessons start from complete beginner level.


  1. BulletESC Acton at Acton Baths. Minimum age 4 and children must be tall enough to stand in the pool. Lessons start from beginner level.


Swimming Development and Training is provided by all Ealing's houses. By agreement with the local pool management, there is a minimum entry standard for ESC Astra and ESC Chiswick, where children must be able to swim 25m to join.


Competitive swimmers should join the Ealing Squad.


Masters swimming is provided by Ealing Masters


Water Polo is provided by Ealing Crabs at senior level and at junior level it forms part of the  ESC Acton and Ealing Dolphins training programmes
